GOALS
Education
My main goal for school and my education is to graduate in the winter of 2025. This is a big goal because it would mean that I complete my undergraduate degree in 2.5 years, and graduate at 20 years old.
Education
Another goal I have for my education is to apply and hopefully get accepted into masters programs. This is an important goal for me because it will help prepare me for the future and open more doors in the business world.
Work
My goal in my work life is to obtain an internship for the 2026 summer. It is important that I get an internship so that I can gain valuable work experience. This internship will also help me progress toward my goal of getting my degree
Personal
A personal goal that I have set for myself is to be more active in the community. It is important to give back to the community because not only can it help those in need, but it can help foster personal growth in oneself.
LEADERSHIP
Strengths
My strengths as a leader are primarily centered around the ideas of a relationship focused style of leadership. I excel at building relationships and making sure my peers are comfortable. Another strength I have as a leader is my ability to take and apply feedback. Many people think that the leader should already know everything, but many times, that isn't the case. It is imperative that I am able to use the criticism or feedback to become an even better leader in the future.
Areas to Improve
Some leadership qualities I'd like to improve upon include conceptual skills, like short-term and strategic planning. While I do have a lot of determination and perseverance, sometimes I can get hyper focused and lose track of the bigger picture. By setting smaller incremental goals, I can help myself to stay on track and not get overwhelmed by a seemingly daunting task.
Who Inspires Me?

As a leader, I find it beneficial to study other great leaders and try to learn as much as I can from their leadership process. One leader that I draw a lot of inspiration from is NBA player Stephen Curry. Curry is not the loudest or most outgoing, so people might not see him as a typical leader, but he is always able to get the most out of his teammates. Curry uses the techniques of a transformational leader by setting the standard through his actions and instilling a strong work ethic in his peers. His teammates have said things like, "Watching Steph makes everyone else want to be great" when talking about his leadership. I also like how Stephen uses his platform to to try and make change by advocating for social issues in America.
Who do I Want to be?
When thinking about the leader I strive to be, two big things come to mind. Community and empowerment. I want to be the type of leader who empowers my peers to be the best that they can be. I want my followers to have the confidence to accomplish goals in their own unique ways. I also want to foster a sense of community. I know first hand the struggles of being on a team full of individuals and how hard that can be. If I can bring my team together like a community the success will surely follow close behind.

"If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change"
I like to think of this quote not only when I am in a leadership role but also when I'm just a contributor to a team. This quote helps me because it reminds me to have an open mind, and not to be short-sighted. As a leader, it is important to be able to see issues from multiple viewpoints or perspectives.
